One of our proud accomplishments at The St Johns Handyman was an accent wall project for a repeat client situated in the beautiful neighborhood of eTown in Jacksonville, Florida. Our client wanted to surprise her eight-year-old son with a room makeover and had found an accent wall design online that she fell in love with. As soon as she sent through the details, we prepared for action. We started off the project by prepping and painting the wall and the lumber in a striking color named HGTV Bluebell. Pre-painting before installation assured a stunning and detailed end result. To create a crisp and eye-catching edge, we outlined the wall with 1×2 lumber. This also gave the wall a sharp, square frame. Following the client’s inspiration photo closely, we carefully installed the accent wall, piece by piece. The project was finalized after caulk and touch-up paint, ending with the perfect Accent Wall Installation. It was a joy to see the transformation!
